Summer Orientation
Families, please go to our Orientation Information for Families website. The information below is directed toward your students.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our new students take this first step in entering Virginia Tech. During your University Studies Orientation session, you will have the opportunity to speak with an academic advisor, learn some of Virginia Tech's academic requirements, and complete your registration for fall semester courses.
If you are unable to attend Orientation in June (for transfer students) or July (for new students), please call our office (540-231-8440) to schedule a phone conference with one of our professional advisors.

Day-2 of Orientation
Orientation advising for University Studies students is held off-campus at the Math Emporium, inside the University Mall. Detailed directions can be found here. There is no shuttle service, so please plan accordingly.
Before leaving the Math Emporium, students should complete this short SURVEY evaluating their experiences during Orientation.
